Audiences appreciated its clean storytelling and sincere performances. Samir Soni recently shared a nostalgic memory from the 2006 film which turned out to be a superhit. The actor recalled the tough conditions during a waterfall song shoot with Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. He reposted an old still and described how the entire cast shivered in the cold.

Samir Soni looked back on a challenging day from ‘Vivah’. He shared a picture originally posted by co-star Lata Sabharwal. The image shared on his social media handle captured a light moment from the set. Samir added his own note about the difficult shooting conditions they faced together.

Samir Soni recalls the shoot days

The team filmed a song sequence under freezing temperatures in Lonavla. They stood beneath a waterfall during winter for several hours. Samir Soni remembered the entire cast shivering throughout the day. The cold weather made the shoot particularly demanding for everyone involved. Samir wrote “I remember @shahidkapoor @amrita_rao_insta and us shooting a song all day while shivering in the Lonavla winter waterfall.” He further noted that after completing the shoot all of them including Shahid, Amrita, Lata and himself were shivering.

The waterfall sequence is part of the film’s picnic scene. Prem played by Shahid Kapoor and Poonam played by Amrita Rao spend time with their families. This moment helps strengthen their bond before the wedding. The still shows the characters smiling against the backdrop of the flowing waterfall.The film featured a strong supporting cast including Anupam Kher, Alok Nath, Seema Biswas, Amrita Prakash, Samir Soni and Lata Sabharwal. ‘Vivah’ continues to hold a special place in the hearts of viewers even after nearly two decades.
