NEW DELHI: A seven-year-old boy, who was allegedly kidnapped in southwest Delhi’s Dabri area, has been rescued. Police arrested the accused from New Delhi Railway Station, officials said on Thursday.According to police, the child was taken from his home around 4.30 pm on Monday, following which a complaint was lodged at Dabri police station. A case was registered under the BNS.DCP (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh said, “Our team used technical surveillance and local intelligence inputs to track the movement of the accused.”Police identified the accused as 26-year-old Mohammad Adil Ansari, a tailor working in the Dabri area and a native of Madhubani in Bihar. During the investigation, it was found that he was allegedly attempting to flee to his native village with the kidnapped child.The police team tracked him to New Delhi Railway Station, where he was apprehended. The child was rescued unharmed and later reunited with his family.
