NEW DELHI: Four people have been arrested after a video of a road rage incident in east Delhi’s Preet Vihar went viral on social media. According to police, the clash took place on Monday when a car allegedly being driven on the wrong side collided with an SUV. The 2-minute-28-second viral video claimed that the occupants of the wrong-side vehicle attacked a family travelling in the SUV. The footage shows a group of men assaulting another man with sticks as a woman is heard screaming. A case was registered. Police said the altercation involved members of both parties. Shivam Magga (32) and Deepak (35) from one side, and Anil (52) and his son Shivam (24) from the other, have been arrested. Investigators said Anil and his son were travelling on the wrong side of the road when the collision occurred. The role of other people seen in the viral video is being verified, and efforts are underway to identify and trace them.
