New online training and AI-powered coaching equip nonprofit leaders to grow fundraising capacity
PORTLAND, Ore. — After engaging more than 10,000 nonprofits through decades of in-person training, Mission Increase is bringing its biblically grounded fundraising framework to nonprofit leaders around the world. Mi Academy and Mi Advisor together comprise the ultimate fundraising toolkit, integrating advanced technology with proven training.
Since 1999, Mission Increase has been helping nonprofit leaders develop biblically based strategies to increase their impact and improve their fundraising efforts. Now, through a robust online curriculum and AI-powered tool that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and high-level execution, nonprofit leaders around the world can receive transformative training that fuels fundraising growth.
The newly released Mi Academy provides 32 courses across eight critical specialties in a self-paced program. Mission Increase’s Transformational Giving approach, grounded in a biblical worldview and refined from years of working with nonprofit leaders, moves seamlessly from foundational systems to advanced strategies in major donor development, annual planning, board development and fundraising campaigns.
Recognizing that learning goes beyond the theoretical, participants also benefit from Mi Advisor, an AI-powered coach embedded inside every course to enhance the learning process. This high-speed AI interface provides leaders with a tool that supports them throughout the learning process and offers counsel and advice to help them reach maximum impact.
Mi Advisor helps leaders draft, refine and finalize action plans to move their organization forward. More than a companion to lessons, it is an instant fundraising coach that can be used for:
- Drafting a case for support tailored to your nonprofit
- Building a fundraising plan that fits your context
- Creating a communications calendar that keeps donors engaged
- Mapping your major donors and planning their next invitation
- Creating action plans to improve your fundraising outcomes
- Applying actionable insights during every training course
Immediately accessible through individual subscriptions, Mi Academy has been approved for continuing education points through CFRE International, expanding access to professional development for nonprofit fundraisers and leaders. CFRE International is an independent nonprofit organization that administers the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential, an internationally recognized voluntary certification for fundraising professionals.
“We are excited to be an approved continuing education provider through such a respected organization that is committed to ethical fundraising standards,” said Geoff Rogers, Mission Increase chief growth officer. “The opportunity to help professional fundraisers meet their CFRE requirements through holistic training that is rooted in Scripture is a natural fit with our mission.”
Beyond individual subscriptions, Mission Increase has already begun piloting customized partnerships with large global organizations such as the Frontiers global movement and Wycliffe Bible Translators, making it easier to provide accessible training for leaders around the world. These opportunities showcase Mission Increase’s ability to help organizations provide support, build effective teams and see consistent results across varying regions and ministry contexts.
“Helping nonprofits figure out what it takes to grow sustainably is one of the things Mission Increase does best,” said Dan Davis, chief executive officer of Mission Increase. “Since our founding in 1999, our team has been on the front lines, training nonprofit leaders how to thrive. We know the complex challenges and pain points leaders face when it comes to fundraising, governance and a host of other issues.”
Davis added, “With Mi Academy and Mi Advisor, we are removing the barriers to bring our unparalleled training program to every nonprofit, no matter their size or location.”
