National Testing Agency (NTA) has started evaluating answer sheets for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, and the results are expected to be declared soon, sources told ANI news agency on Tuesday.The agency has reportedly received more than 10,000 objections to the provisional answer key. Each challenge is being examined carefully before the final answer key and results are announced.The objection window for candidates who wished to challenge the provisional answer key of the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination closed on June 28.Now that the window for raising objections is closed, the final answer key will soon be made available. The NEET UG result will then be declared. Though there is no specific date or time set by the organisation for the declaration of results, it is likely to be declared soon after the evaluation process.NTA usually releases the NEET UG result about 30 to 40 days after the exam. Based on this, the result would likely come in July.Once the NEET UG 2026 result is announced, candidates can check and download their scorecards by visiting the official website at neet.nta.ac.in. On the homepage, click on the ‘NEET UG Result 2026’ link and enter your application number, date of birth and security pin. After submitting the details, your scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download it and take a printout for future admission and counselling processes.The NEET UG 2026 re-examination was held on June 21 across India and at 14 centres abroad. The exam was conducted after an alleged paper leak, which is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The agency has arrested several people in connection with the case.More than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the re-examination at 5,440 centres across India and 14 centres overseas. The test was conducted in 13 languages, including Hindi and English.
