Bajaj Auto appears to be preparing another major update to its popular Pulsar line-up. The next-generation Pulsar 150 has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its expected launch. The motorcycle features a redesigned headlight cowl and a more muscular-looking fuel tank with extensions. At the rear, the tail section appears slimmer and continues with the Pulsar’s twin LED tail-lamps.The suspension setup has also been upgraded. At the rear, the new Pulsar 150 uses a preload-adjustable monoshock, replacing the twin shock absorbers found on the current motorcycle. A conventional telescopic fork continues to handle suspension duties at the front.The engine is another major area of change. The outgoing Pulsar 150 uses an air-cooled engine, while the new version gets an air- and oil-cooled powertrain. Bajaj is yet to reveal the official power and torque figures for the updated motorcycle.For reference, the existing Pulsar 150 uses a 149.5cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 14 hp and around 13.3 Nm of torque. The new model is expected to retain a similar engine displacement, although its final performance figures and gearbox specifications will be announced closer to the launch.One of the biggest equipment upgrades visible on the new motorcycle is the instrument console. The Pulsar 150 appears to get a colour LCD display, replacing the simpler unit seen on older versions.The motorcycle also gets alloy wheels and a front disc brake. Despite the changes, Bajaj has retained the core Pulsar design identity instead of giving the 150 a completely different appearance.
