The attachment — linked to a case registered at Banihal PS under provisions of IPC and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act — was carried out by police teams from Banihal sub-division in the presence of executive magistrates and local witnesses, a police spokesperson said.“During investigation, credible evidence established that the accused had exfiltrated to Pakistan to attain terrorist training. They were currently operating as terrorist handlers from across the border, actively promoting, facilitating, and coordinating activities of ultras. The accused had allegedly planned to use the assets to facilitate, finance, and sustain terror acts,” the spokesperson said. The action was part of J&K Police’s ongoing efforts to dismantle the financial and logistical infrastructure of cross-border terror networks.
