KV AGRAHARAM: A man was found hanging from a tree while his three minor children were found dead inside their home in Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district on Friday, with police suspecting family-related issues behind the deaths.According to police, the family had gone to sleep at around 9.30 pm on Thursday.The children’s grandmother grew suspicious after the family failed to respond on Friday morning and found the children unresponsive when she checked on them.“Circumstances surrounding the deaths are under investigation. No suicide note or any other material has been found so far,” a police official told PTI.The children’s father was later found hanging from a tree at another location nearby, police added.Preliminary investigation suggested that family-related issues may have contributed to the incident.According to police, the man’s wife had been living separately from him for the past three years.Police ruled out any known property dispute, noting that the family did not own any property and have registered two cases in connection with the incident.One case was registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) relating to an unnatural death, while another pertains to death by hanging.Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the deaths.(With PTI inputs)
