Dulquer Salmaan has spoken out after the scheduled release of the ‘I’m Game’ trailer was unexpectedly postponed. The actor apologised to fans for the delay and explained that a technical issue prevented the makers from unveiling the trailer on time.

The trailer had been planned as a special birthday surprise for Dulquer’s fans. However, the launch was called off shortly before its scheduled release.
DQ apologises for the unexpected delay
Dulquer shared a message addressing the situation and apologised to everyone who had been looking forward to the trailer.He said, “I am extremely sorry about the delay. We were all eagerly waiting to share the trailer with you, but due to an unforeseen technical issue, we couldn’t release it as planned.”The actor added that the decision was taken because the team did not want to release a version that failed to meet their expectations.

Reassuring fans that the wait would be worthwhile, Dulquer said the makers were working continuously to resolve the issue before announcing a new release date.He said, “We don’t want to put out anything that isn’t perfect. We owe you the best possible experience, and that’s exactly what we’re trying to deliver.”
DQ’s Instagram story grabbed attention
Dulquer had reacted to the delay with humour on Instagram. Responding to birthday wishes from the film’s co-producer Jom Varghese, he jokingly asked about the missing trailer.Sharing the story, Dulquer wrote, “Birthday wishes are fine, Jom, but where’s the trailer?”

Directed by Nahas Hidayath, who previously helmed ‘RDX’, ‘I’m Game’ marks Dulquer Salmaan’s return to Malayalam cinema following ‘King of Kotha’.The film remains on track for its worldwide theatrical release on August 20, 2026, during the Onam festival season.
