New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for expected restrictions on Monday in view of an inauguration programme at DDU Marg. The inauguration of the new Central Office of Sanskrit Bharati, scheduled for 7 am on Monday, is expected to see around 1,500 attendees, including dignitaries. Traffic congestion is likely on DDU Marg and nearby stretches. Heavy vehicles may be restricted depending on traffic conditions.Commuters have been advised to avoid DDU Marg from ITO to Minto Road on both carriageways, and Vishnu Digambar Marg between 6 am and 4 pm.For those heading towards New Delhi Railway Station, alternate routes have been suggested. Vehicles from ITO can take the Outer Circle and then move towards Chelmsford Road to reach the station area. Those coming via BSZ Marg can take Kotla Cut, pass through Mata Sundari Lane, continue to Mirdard Chowk, and then join Minto Road. Another option is to go via Delhi Gate Chowk, take JLN Marg, and merge onto Minto Road towards the station.Commuters are advised to plan their journeys, allow extra travel time and follow directions issued by traffic personnel on duty.
