For many aspiring homeowners in Delhi, buying a home has become a challenging task as property prices continue to climb. To bridge this gap and make homeownership more attainable, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched two housing schemes offering flats across multiple income categories.The schemes cater to buyers from the High Income Group (HIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), Low Income Group (LIG) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), providing a chance to own a home at relatively affordable prices. Flats are being allotted through a transparent first-come, first-served process, giving eligible applicants an opportunity to secure a house in the national capital.
DDA Nagrik Awaas Yojana 2026 (FCFS)
The scheme was launched on January 23 to provide affordable accommodations in Narela and Siraspur, at a flat 25% discount. It offers a total of 3,245 flats in Narela, with 1,944 included in March, and 411 LIG flats in Siraspur.Registration can be done on DDA’s Awaas Portal, with the booking amount for the flats being under the following categories:HIG Flat: Rs 10,00,000MIG Flat: Rs 4,00,000LIG Flat: Rs 1,00,000EWS Flat: Rs 50,000The booking period for flats under the scheme has been extended up to June 30. Applicants have to pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2500 on the Awaas portal.
DDA Towering Heights Karkardooma Housing Scheme 2026
Under the scheme, 741 two BHK flats in Karkardooma, East Delhi, are being offered to individual buyers on a first-come-first-served (FCFS) basis. The scheme also offers 500 flats, including 393 later additions, in the bulk purchase category to eligible government institutions.With a booking amount of Rs four lakhs, buyers are required to pay 75% of the disposal cost initially and the remaining 25% at the time of possession. The last date of registration has been extended to June 30.Located in Delhi’s first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project, the housing scheme offers modern residential facilities along with excellent metro and road connectivity in East Delhi.
