BSEB opens faculty recruitment for free JEE, NEET coaching programme; applications close July 10
The Bihar School Examination Board has invited applications from qualified teachers for its free JEE and NEET coaching programme, an initiative aimed at supporting talented students from financially weaker backgrounds. Eligible candidates can apply until July 10, while shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in Patna on July 12.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has initiated a recruitment process for hiring eligible teaching faculty for their JEE and NEET free coaching program which is being designed to assist meritorious candidates belonging to weaker sections of society in preparing for the toughest exams in India.The board has invited applications from eligible educators with expertise in science subjects and entrance examination preparation. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal or via email. The application window will remain open until July 10, 5 pm.

Recruitment to strengthen free coaching initiative

The recruitment is part of BSEB’s effort to expand its free, non-residential coaching programme for students aspiring to pursue engineering and medical education through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).This program has been structured for those students who have cleared the Class 10 exams but are not able to pay the exorbitant fees for getting coaching from private institutions. In this program, there would be coaching sessions held in 10 selected schools in the state of Bihar.

How eligible teachers can apply

Candidates interested in joining the programme can submit their applications in the prescribed format through the official BSEB coaching portal at coaching.biharboardonline.com. Applications can also be sent via email to computeritcellbseb@gmail.com.Applicants must attach all the required documents while submitting their forms. The board has advised candidates to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

Interview scheduled for July 12

Following an assessment of the application forms, a list of shortlisted candidates for the subsequent stage in the process of recruitment will be created by BSEB.The interview for the shortlisted candidates will take place on July 12 from 10 AM onwards at Patna, wherein candidates will be tested for their aptitude to teach students appearing for JEE and NEET.

Subjects and eligibility criteria

The recruitment drive covers faculty positions in key science disciplines that form the core of JEE and NEET preparation, including:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Biology

For the selection process, the applicant needs to have qualifications like BSc, MSc, or MTech in the relevant field. The preference will be given to the candidate having previous experience in teaching the JEE and NEET syllabus as well as the academic background in competitive examination coaching.
