New Delhi: A 17-year-old boy, who had reportedly left home after writing a suicide note, was traced and reunited with his family at Punjabi Bagh West metro station Tuesday night.Around 10 pm, CISF Metro Control received information from the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police regarding the teenager suspected to be present at Punjabi Bagh metro station. He was later found near Gate No. 1. “He was kept safe, comforted, and provided the necessary care while metro control maintained continuous coordination with the Cyber Cell, DMRC’s Metro Control, and other concerned authorities,” said a CISF official.Around 11 pm, the child’s family reached the station. “After due verification of their identity, the child was safely handed over to his parents in the presence of CISF personnel,” said the official. He added that CISF, in coordination with DMRC and police, remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of Metro commuters and providing immediate assistance during emergencies through effective inter-agency coordination and rapid response.
