Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download their scorecards from the official website exams.nta.nic.in\/cuet-pg using their application number and date of birth.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>The result has been published after completion of the evaluation process based on the final answer key. The examination was conducted in Computer Based Test mode for admission into postgraduate programmes across central, state, private and other participating institutions.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Examination conducted across multiple shifts and subjects<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>The CUET PG 2026 examination was held between March 6 and March 30, 2026, across multiple shifts over several days. <!-- -->The test covered 157 subjects and was conducted nationwide in CBT mode for admission to postgraduate courses.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>As per official data, 4,11,366 unique candidates registered for the exam, while 3,45,220 appeared. Gender-wise data shows 2,32,965 female candidates registered with 1,98,060 appearing, while 1,78,391 male candidates registered with 1,47,151 appearing. A small number of third gender candidates also participated.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>Category-wise, the General category accounted for 1,60,099 registrations with 1,31,748 appearances. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates formed the largest share with 1,37,809 registrations and 1,18,165 appearances. SC, ST, and EWS candidates also participated in significant numbers across the examination cycle.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Subject-wise participation across 157 programmes<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>The examination witnessed a wider subject distribution with 7,14,621 subject registrations and 5,04,301 appearances across all papers. <!-- -->Female candidates accounted for 4,05,905 registrations and 2,92,069 appearances, while male candidates recorded 3,08,697 registrations and 2,12,220 appearances.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>Among categories, General candidates recorded 2,75,716 registrations with 1,90,177 appearances, followed by OBC candidates at 2,39,557 registrations and 1,73,638 appearances. SC and ST candidates also contributed significantly to the overall participation.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Result based on final answer key evaluation<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"29\"\/>The result has been prepared after reviewing objections raised against the provisional answer key, which was made available from April 11 to April 14, 2026. Candidates were allowed to challenge questions by submitting objections within the stipulated period.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/>Experts reviewed all challenges before finalising the answer key, which was then used for result processing. <!-- -->The final evaluation ensures uniformity in scoring across all shifts and subjects.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"35\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Scorecard details and admission process<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"37\"\/>The CUET PG 2026 scorecard includes candidate details such as name, roll number, application number, subject-wise marks, normalised scores, percentile, and qualifying status. Candidates are advised to download and preserve their scorecards for admission and counselling procedures.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"40\"\/>A total of 198 universities are participating in CUET PG 2026 admissions, including 45 central universities, 40 state universities, 24 government institutions, and 89 private and deemed universities.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"42\"\/>Around 45 central universities, including University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Jamia Millia Islamia, will conduct admissions based on CUET PG scores. State universities such as Delhi Technological University and Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi will also use the results for postgraduate admissions.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"45\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Counselling and university-level selection process<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"47\"\/>The merit list will be prepared independently by participating universities based on CUET PG 2026 scores. Each institution will release its own cut-offs and conduct separate counselling processes.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"49\"\/>NTA has clarified that its role is limited to conducting the examination, processing results, and issuing scorecards, while admission decisions rest with universities.
