Branches in the state will stay shut due to the General Elections to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly 2026. So, while most of the country can go ahead with regular banking and trading plans on April 23, those in Tamil Nadu may want to reschedule their bank visits.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>As for the rest of April, there are no bank holidays lined up, apart from the weekend holidays. All scheduled and non-scheduled banks observe public holiday on second and fourth Saturdays.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Stock market operations<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>For traders, however, it\u2019s business as usual. Stock markets will continue to function without any interruption.
