The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) also received a call at about 9.20 pm, following which a fire tender was rushed to the spot.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/>A police team reached the hotel and identified the man as a resident of the Mohan Garden area in southwest Delhi. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>DCP (New Delhi) Sachin Sharma said the man checked into the hotel on Saturday around 6.30 pm.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>A senior police officer said a suicide note was recovered from the hotel room, along with liquor bottles. The officer added that the man reportedly contacted a former girlfriend before the incident, who later alerted his family through a common friend.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>Crime team officials and personnel from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) inspected the scene and collected evidence.
