Benchmark indices <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/nifty50\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">Nifty50<\/a> and Sensex managed to bag gains, ending the day marginally higher. The 30-share <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/bse-sensex\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">BSE Sensex<\/a> inched up by 26.76 points, or 0.03%, to close at 78,520.30. The index had earlier touched a high of 78,942.45 and a low of 78,203.30, reflecting an intraday volatility of 739.15 points.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>The NSE Nifty also saw a marginal gain, rising 11.30 points, or 0.05%, to settle at 24,364.85.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Among the Sensex constituents, Trent, State Bank of India, Asian Paints, NTPC, Bajaj Finance and InterGlobe Aviation emerged as the top gainers.
