The engagement will be carried out under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for a one-year training period through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The Bank has stated that the apprenticeship does not lead to employment and apprentices will be relieved after completion of the training period.<\/p>\n The selection for J&K Bank apprentice posts will be based on a single-stage online written examination of 100 marks, conducted in English. The test will comprise 100 questions to be completed in 60 minutes, divided into two sections \u2014 General Awareness and English Comprehension (50 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes) and Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability (50 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes).The marking scheme includes a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, while unanswered questions will not attract any penalty. Based on performance, the Bank will prepare a district-, region- and category-wise merit list, with candidates ranked in descending order of aggregate marks. In case two or more candidates secure the same score, the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit order. The notification also states that a waitlist of up to 50% of the notified vacancies will be maintained for a period of one year or until the next recruitment cycle.
