As a seasoned Diplomat and former Ambassador to the United States, he has always shown deep commitment to strengthening the U.S.-India relationship. Wishing him success in leading Delhi\u2019s progress, and furthering global ties!\u201d Trump said on social media.Sandhu was appointed the LG on March 5 and took oath on March 11. He said Delhi was his \u2018karmabhoomi\u2019 and he will work with all stakeholders and turn challenges into opportunities and will work for the city\u2019s development.Since assuming office, Sandhu has been visiting different parts of Delhi to review development work and civic infrastructure.He has held frequent review meetings with chief minister Rekha Gupta, ministers and senior officials across departments, including coordination with the Delhi Police<\/a> to address law-and-order and traffic management.For traffic management he has put emphasis on easing congestion, which includes involving RWAs.He has asked officials to work on inter-agency coordination and time-bound resolution of urban issues affecting daily life.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
