Candidates who participated in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for Direct Second Year Engineering admissions can check their provisional seat allotment status through the official Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell portal.The allotment result will display the engineering college and branch assigned to candidates based on their final merit rank, submitted preferences, reservation category and seat availability. After checking the result, candidates must complete seat acceptance, fee payment and institute reporting within the prescribed timeline.DSE CAP Round 1 result and next steps<\/span>The State Common Entrance Test Cell completed the key stages of the DSE Admission 2026-27 process before releasing the first allotment result. The registration process was conducted from July 7 to July 22, 2026, followed by the release of the provisional merit list on July 25.Candidates were allowed to raise grievances against the provisional merit list, after which the final merit list and seat matrix were published on July 30, 2026. The final merit ranks, identified through Application IDs beginning with DSE26, are being used for the CAP Round 1 allotment process.Candidates submitted their preferred college and course combinations during the option form period from July 26 to July 28, 2026.
