Of these, 3,395 vacancies have been notified for the Non-Kalyana Karnataka cadre, while 596 posts are reserved for the Kalyana Karnataka cadre.According to data released by KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, 4,54,532 candidates registered for the recruitment. The Non-Kalyana Karnataka cadre received 3,77,861 applications for 3,395 vacancies, while 76,684 candidates applied for 596 posts under the Kalyana Karnataka cadre.The OMR-based written examination was conducted simultaneously at 884 examination centres under CCTV surveillance. Only candidates who secured at least 50 marks out of 150 in the Mandatory Kannada Language Test held on July 19, 2026, were eligible to appear for the written examination.Exam pattern and selection process<\/span>The written examination lasted 90 minutes and consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each. A penalty of 0.25 marks is applicable for every incorrect response.Candidates shortlisted after the written examination will proceed to the remaining stages of the recruitment process, including physical tests and document verification.
