Several measures are being planned to upgrade the security of the assembly complex too.\u201cIn coordination with security agencies, the Delhi Assembly premises is undergoing a rigorous security fortification to ensure the safety of all members and staff. Automated boom barriers are being installed at every entry gate to facilitate mandatory, rigorous checks for all individuals and luggage entering the complex. A CRPF Quick Response Team, along with a vehicle, has been stationed on site to neutralise any potential threat immediately,\u201d said an official.The security upgrade reflects a zero-tolerance approach to threats against democratic institutions. \u201cThe safety of constitutional heads and the integrity of the assembly premises remain paramount,\u201d said the official.Recently, a speeding car broke through barricades and forced its way into the Delhi Assembly premises, triggering a major scare. The assembly secretariat and the speaker\u2019s office have received seven threatening emails on official email IDs, the official added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
