After Donald Trump\u2019s recent visit to General Motors\u2019 flagship test site in Michigan, glimpses were shared on social media set to Noah Kahan\u2019s song \u2018American Cars,\u2019 a track that highlights turbulent family dynamics. When his fans started tagging him under the post, the folk-rock musician strongly criticised the administration for using his song, especially without his permission. \u201cWould never approve of my music being used in support of you or this administration,\u201d he wrote. Furthermore, co-lyricist Noah Levine claimed the song isn\u2019t for them in a since-deleted comment.<\/p>\n

The administration used her 2010 hit \u2018Firework\u2019 for a video featuring military strikes amid the war in Iran, according to The Independent. \u201cI am deeply appalled and angry to see \u2018Firework\u2019 used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes,\u201d Perry said in a July 25 post on X, before adding, \u201cI did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.\u201d Before her, Ariana Grande recently called out Trump\u2019s post for using her song \u2018Bye\u2019 in the footage showcasing arrests by US Immigration. <\/div>\n
