<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi: A newly designated fast-track court Wednesday granted CBI<\/a> three more days to file the \u201cdocuments, witness statements and other material\u201d referred to in its nearly 20,000-page chargesheet against 13 accused in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case.Special judge Anu Grover Baliga took the chargesheet on record, observing that it was accompanied only by the lists of witnesses, documents and material objects, and accepted the submissions of special public prosecutors VK Pathak and Arjun Anand.\u201cSince the documents are voluminous and are in the process of being scanned, three more days\u2019 time be granted to the prosecuting agency to file all the documents, statements of witnesses etc. mentioned in the chargesheet,\u201d the court said, listing the matter on Aug 3.The development comes after Delhi High Court<\/a> designated Baliga\u2019s court as the special fast-track court last Friday to exclusively try offences under Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, and connected cases. Although the court began functioning Monday, its proceedings were adjourned after no prosecutor appeared for the state until 10.45am. Following the court\u2019s directions, two special public prosecutors were appointed Tuesday.According to CBI, the chargesheet cites 360 witnesses, 422 documents and 43 material objects. All 13 accused are in judicial custody.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
