The Commonwealth Championships silver medallist looked well in contention after the snatch but suffered a dramatic collapse in the clean and jerk, failing all three of her attempts to record a Did Not Finish (DNF).<\/p>\n Nirupama began the competition with an unsuccessful lift of 93kg in the snatch before recovering to clear the same weight on her second attempt. She then attempted 95kg but could not complete the lift, finishing the opening discipline with a best of 93kg.
