<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi: <\/span>The first hearing in a designated fast-track special court in Delhi set up to try offences under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 was adjourned Monday after no prosecutor appeared on behalf of CBI<\/a> to argue on the bail application of Dinesh Biwal and Vikas Biwal, accused in the NEET paper leak case.Special judge Anu Grover Baliga directed the \u201cdirector of prosecution to depute a public prosecutor in the present court\u201d even as the counsel of the accused submitted that the matter be adjourned to Aug 3.On July 23, Delhi HC issued a notification, saying Baliga\u2019s court would function as a \u201cspecially designated fast-track court\u201d to try offences under the Act, and connected offences with immediate effect. Baliga took charge Saturday.Last Friday, special judge Ajay Gupta, who was initially hearing the NEET paper leak case, extended the judicial custody of all 13 accused till Aug 6 while dismissing the bail plea of Dr Manoj Bhagwanrao Shirure, an accused paediatrician, saying it is prima facie clear from the probe that he was \u201cone of the active conspirators of an organised paper leak gang\u201d.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
