<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi: <\/span>Delhi BJP has decided to intensify its outreach among young voters after internal feedback suggested that the party needs to engage more actively with issues concerning the youth, particularly in the wake of the recent Gen Z-led protest at Jantar Mantar.According to party sources, the outreach will involve three levels \u2014 the state unit of the party, Delhi BJP MLAs and ministers and student organisations, with Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) expected to play a key role in colleges and universities in the city.The move comes amid the party\u2019s assessment that while it enjoys strong organisational support, it needs more direct engagement with first-time voters and university students on contemporary issues.The sources said BJYM has been asked to draw up a calendar of programmes across university campuses, while Delhi ministers have been encouraged to increase interactions with students and youth groups.The first phase of the outreach began on Sunday when BJP workers listened to PM Modi\u2019s Mann Ki Baat<\/span> at around 6,450 locations across Delhi. Apart from tuning in for the broadcast, the party\u2019s state unit president Harsh Malhotra hosted \u2018Yuva Samvad (Gen-Z with Modi)\u2019, an interaction with around 50 students from various colleges and universities.Discussions centred on higher education, expansion of universities, curriculum changes and opportunities available to youngsters. Students shared their views on the recent protest. According to the party, the participants said student movements should promote positive dialogue and national unity.Addressing the gathering, Malhotra said the youth were playing an important role in building a \u201cNew India\u201d under Modi. He highlighted the expansion of medical education since 2014, saying it created greater opportunities for the students.Student movements should not be viewed solely through the prism of electoral politics, Malhotra said. Referring to the recent demonstrations, he said many young people also expressed support for the Centre and alleged that opposition parties tried to politicise the agitation. He noted that the BJP brass in the capital includes several politicians who themselves emerged from student politics.The sources said similar youth-centric interactions, campus engagements and dialogues will be held regularly as part of BJP\u2019s broader strategy to strengthen its connect with young voters ahead of future political contests.<\/div>\n
