<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nSRINAGAR: J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah<\/a> rejected Thursday Union minister JP Nadda<\/a>\u2019s claim linking \u201cNational Conference (NC) and Congress\u201d to a govt job exam leak in the Union territory, pointing out that the fiasco occurred in 2022 under the lieutenant governor\u2019s (LG) administration when his govt was not in place.Omar indicated that Nadda was correct about the Service Selection Board (SSB) exam leak but got other facts wrong. \u201cIt was 2022. Govt wasn\u2019t of NC and Congress. It was a govt headed by LG but thank you for reminding everyone of this failure,\u201d Omar posted.The CM\u2019s response came a day after health minister Nadda accused Omar\u2019s NC and ally Congress of maintaining silence on recruitment-related irregularities, mentioning the \u201cSSB paper leak in J&K, where govt is of Congress and NC\u201d.NC spokesperson and MLA Tanvir Sadiq seized on Nadda\u2019s remarks to accuse \u201cBJP of spreading falsehood\u201d \u201cSuch blatant misinformation from a Union minister is both irresponsible and unbecoming,\u201d Sadiq said.The tainted 2022 SSB exams, held for several posts like sub-inspectors and junior engineers, were cancelled over the leak. J&K high court ordered the administration to constitute a high-level probe panel.Posting the HC order, Omar mentioned the court\u2019s observations. \u201cWe have no idea what happened to the high-level committee or its report. Perhaps you (Nadda) can share that with us in your next press conference,\u201d Omar wrote.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
