For Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment, the selection process includes a preliminary examination, main examination, and personality test.The preliminary exam will have 100 questions carrying 100 marks and will be conducted for 60 minutes. The main examination will consist of 170 questions for 200 marks with a duration of 160 minutes.There is a negative marking in the objective tests. One-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect answer, while unanswered questions will not attract any penalty.For Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment, candidates will have to appear for an online preliminary examination, online main examination, and interview. Those who qualify in the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for the main examination. The final selection will be based on the marks secured in the main examination and interview.<\/p>\n
