These specialised ambulances will be equipped with modern life-support systems and tailored facilities to address the unique healthcare needs of elderly patients, improving response time and pre-hospital care across the city.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>With this addition, the Centralised Accident and Trauma Services fleet will expand from 331 to 351 ambulances. The service, accessible via the toll-free number 102 and integrated with the 112 Emergency Response Support System, is a critical component of Delhi\u2019s emergency healthcare network.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>Govt has also outlined plans to gradually scale the fleet up to 1,000 ambulances, aiming to build a more robust and future-ready response system.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>The initiative is part of a broader push to enhance healthcare accessibility and infrastructure, backed by a \u20b913,034 crore health sector allocation.
