Bihar remained among the laggards, with only 26.9% of secondary schools having integrated science labs in 2025-26, though this improved from 23% in 2023-24.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Assam rose sharply from 28.8% to 43.3%. Gujarat slipped from 46.7% to 43.8%, while Andhra Pradesh fell from 61.9% to 48.7% as secondary schooling expanded.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>Among the best performers, Delhi reported 99.7% coverage, followed by Chhattisgarh at 79.8% and Haryana at 77.4%.
