The board awards grades based on marks obtained in the board examinations. Students must score at least 33 per cent marks to pass the exam.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>The CBSE Class 10 examination consists of 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for practical and internal assessment.
