The National Zoological Park witnessed the successful breeding of cobras after nearly 15 years.\u201cThe hatchlings emerged on June 29-30 after a successful incubation period under the careful supervision of the zoo\u2019s veterinary and animal care teams. All hatchlings are active, healthy, and are being maintained in a secure, species-appropriate environment of temperature and humidity with continuous monitoring,\u201d said Delhi zoo.Under Delhi zoo\u2019s internship programme, two interns are working on reptile behaviour and incubation studies. \u201cThe zoo continues to work towards conservation, education, and public awareness by promoting scientific understanding of reptiles and encouraging coexistence with these ecologically important animals,\u201d added the statement.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
