Once the submission window closes, preferences will be locked automatically, and no further changes will be permitted.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>Officials have repeatedly advised students to review their choices carefully, as admissions in subsequent rounds will depend on the preferences submitted during this stage.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:18pt;margin-bottom:6pt;\">One-time correction window opened for applicants<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>Responding to requests from candidates who reported errors in their application forms, <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/delhi-university\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">Delhi University<\/a> has opened a one-time correction facility on the CSAS portal.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>The correction window enables applicants to rectify mistakes in the information already submitted during registration. The facility was introduced after the university received multiple representations from students seeking an opportunity to correct inadvertent errors before the admission process advances. <!-- -->The correction period runs alongside the final phase of undergraduate registration and preference submission.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:18pt;margin-bottom:6pt;\">Admissions across 73 undergraduate programmes<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"29\"\/>For the 2026-27 academic session, Delhi University is offering admissions to 73 undergraduate programmes across 69 colleges and academic departments.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/>The university has made available 71,624 seats through the CSAS admission process. In addition, nearly 150 combinations under the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme are being offered, giving candidates a wide range of academic options.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"34\"\/>Admissions under supernumerary categories, including sports and extracurricular activities, will also be processed based on the programme and college preferences submitted by eligible applicants.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"36\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:18pt;margin-bottom:6pt;\">First seat allotment to be released on July 16<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"38\"\/>The first allocation list for undergraduate admissions will be published on July 16. Candidates who receive a seat will have to accept the allotment and complete the admission formalities within the stipulated schedule.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"41\"\/>After paying the admission fee, students can either freeze their allotted seat or choose the upgrade option to be considered for a higher-preference programme or college in the subsequent rounds. Those opting for an upgrade will also be allowed to rearrange their higher preferences before the next allocation cycle.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"43\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Virtual wallet introduced to simplify fee payment<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"45\"\/>To make the admission process smoother, the university has introduced a virtual wallet mechanism for fee payments.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"48\"\/>Under this system, candidates who secure an upgraded seat after paying the admission fee in an earlier round will have the amount automatically adjusted. The initiative is expected to eliminate repeated payments and simplify the financial process during multiple rounds of counselling.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"50\"\/>Delhi University aims to complete two rounds of undergraduate admissions before the commencement of the new academic session on July 28.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"53\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:18pt;margin-bottom:6pt;\">Postgraduate and professional admissions also progress<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"55\"\/>Alongside undergraduate admissions, the university has continued the counselling process for postgraduate and professional programmes.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"57\"\/>The third allocation list for two-year postgraduate courses, including performance-based programmes such as Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed), and Music, has already been released.
