Directed, written and edited by Venkatesh Maha<\/a>, the film stars Satya Dev<\/a> in the lead. If recent reports are to be believed an international production and distribution company has shown interest in acquiring the film’s remake rights.<\/p>\n According to a report by Hindustan Times, the company\u2019s executives learned about the film during the selection process for the Cannes Film Festival. They were shown a few glimpses of \u2018Rao Bahadur\u2019 even though the film was not officially selected for the festival. The movie could not complete the submission process on time because it was not finished before the deadline.Even though it missed the festival, the executives were highly impressed after watching parts of the film. They liked the story and believed it had strong potential to connect with audiences around the world.After \u2018Rao Bahadur\u2019 released on July 3, the international production house shared its interest in acquiring the film\u2019s international rights. The company is now exploring two options. It may release the original Telugu version in international markets or remake the film with a new international cast and crew. A final decision has not been made yet.<\/p>\n Speaking about the film, it is a mystical psychological drama showing Satya Dev playing Ramappa in both the younger and older stages of the character. He has received huge acclaim for his performance in the film. The movie has also been lauded for its story and unique presentation.<\/p>\n Along with Satya Dev, the film features Deepa Thomas as the female lead.
