The accused, Bideshi Saw, was arrested from Daman and Diu, while Santosh Kumar<\/a> was nabbed from Patna.The racket came to light during social media monitoring and cyber patrolling when officials were tipped off about the sale online, police said. Investigators created a dummy user account, recharged the website wallet with Rs 100 through the UPI ID linked to the portal, and generated fake Aadhaar and voter ID cards by entering arbitrary personal details and uploading a photograph.\u201cExamination of the forged Aadhaar card<\/a> revealed that its QR code merely stored the details entered by the user and was not linked to any official Aadhaar database, confirming the documents were fake,\u201d said DCP (IFSO) Vinit Kumar.Investigation traced the payment-linked mobile number and UPI account to Bideshi Saw. During interrogation, he allegedly disclosed that Santosh Kumar managed the website\u2019s backend operations. A subsequent raid in Patna led to Kumar\u2019s arrest.The website allegedly enabled users to generate fake Aadhaar cards, voter ID cards, PAN-related documents, domicile certificates, caste certificates, and birth and death certificates after making online payments.Police seized mobile phones and laptops along with digital records, website source code, hosting details, customer databases, payment records and chats between the accused.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
