The milestone saw her move ahead of Suzie Bates, who had previously held the record with eight 50-plus scores.

Most 50-plus scores in Women’s T20 World Cup history

Rank

Player

50+ Scores

Innings

1

Nat Sciver-Brunt

9

31

2

Suzie Bates

8

44

3

Beth Mooney

8

31

4

Alyssa Healy

7

39

The England skipper also climbed another elite list. Amy Jones fell for six to Lucy Hamilton, while tournament leading run-scorer Danni Wyatt-Hodge was dismissed by Annabel Sutherland, leaving England struggling at 32/2.Sciver-Brunt then combined with Alice Capsey to rebuild the innings, although Australia’s disciplined bowling attack kept the scoring rate under control.
