Recently there have been rumours that the film was based on the 2024 Malayalam comedy-drama. Now, Keerthy Suresh<\/a> has shared clarification regarding the same.<\/p>\n Keerthy Suresh responded to one such post on Instagram and gave a direct answer. She wrote that the upcoming film is \u201cnot a remake.\u201d Her comment has now put an end to all the speculation surrounding the project.\u2018VenkyAnil5\u2019 stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead roles. The film marks a special reunion for both actors with director Anil Ravipudi.Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty will play the female leads in the movie. Music director GV Prakash Kumar has been signed to compose both the songs and the background score.The makers recently announced the project, and the film is currently aiming for a grand theatrical release during the Sankranti festival in 2027.<\/p>\n The remake rumours started because many people believed the story was similar to Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil.The Malayalam film follows Vinu, who is getting ready for an arranged marriage with Anjali. His life changes when he becomes close friends with his future brother-in-law, Anandan. Later, he learns that Anandan’s separated wife is his former girlfriend. This leads to many funny and emotional moments before the wedding. The film starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, Basil Joseph, Anaswara Rajan and Nikhila Vimal.
