Noida: A 38-year-old truck driver was rescued by cops after an Instagram<\/a> post he made indicating his intention to die was flagged and forwarded to the authorities. The man was allegedly distressed and struggling with depression due to a marital dispute.On Tuesday morning, the man allegedly uploaded a video on Instagram indicating suicidal thoughts following a dispute with his wife. Around 10.50am , Instagram\u2019s parent company, Meta, sent an alert via email to the UP Police headquarters\u2019 social media cell, which in-turn traced his location and alerted the GB Nagar police commissionerate\u2019s media cell.Officers from Dadri police station were provided with the man\u2019s real-time location and launched an operation. Police teams followed the man\u2019s truck for 20 minutes before intercepting it. When officers searched the vehicle, they found the man in a highly disturbed mental state. They also discovered a rope tied into a noose on an iron rod inside the truck.The man was persuaded to step out of the vehicle. Police informed his family of the situation and asked them to come to the spot for support. Once family members arrived, police conducted counselling in their presence before letting him go with his family.During questioning, the man allegedly told cops he had planned on parking his truck at a secluded spot before taking his life that morning.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
