<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi:<\/span> Multiple schools in the national capital got bomb threats Wednesday morning, triggering evacuations and security checks by police and emergency response agencies.The threats were later declared hoaxes.Among the schools targeted were Air Force Golden Jubilee School in southwest Delhi\u2019s Dhaula Kuan and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in central Delhi\u2019s Lodhi Estate.The threats came on a day several schools, including Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, reopened after summer vacation.Delhi Fire Service (DFS) got a call regarding the bomb threat at Air Force Golden Jubilee School around 10 am. Around the same time, at 11.12 am, the parents of students at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya got an email warning of a security threat at the school, prompting authorities to activate emergency measures.Delhi Police, along with other security agencies, launched extensive precautionary measures on the campuses. Bomb disposal teams (BDTs), dog squads and other personnel were deployed to conduct searches of the school premises to rule out the presence of any suspicious objects or explosive devices.As part of the safety protocol, students, teachers and other staff members were evacuated from the school buildings and moved to designated safe locations while the search operations were underway.After inspections, authorities declared that no suspicious object or explosive was found in any school.Several incidents have been reported earlier this year of schools receiving hoax bomb threats. Earlier on Feb 9, at least 15 schools were targetted across the city with threatening emails. Later in the same month, several schools were targetted again, including Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan and Air Force Bal Bharti School on Lodhi Road.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
