KFF Health News chief Washington correspondent Julie Rovner spoke with WAMU about how the decision is rippling through the public health system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Big swings in federal vaccine policy are creating confusion for some parents and clinicians. A <a href=\"https:\/\/kffhealthnews.org\/news\/podcast\/what-the-health-438-rfk-vaccine-schedule-changes-blocked-obamacare-midterms-march-19-2026\/\">federal judge recently struck down<\/a> Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.\u2019s new, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/decision-memo-adopting-revised-childhood-adolescent-immunization-schedule.pdf\">shortened list of recommended vaccines<\/a> for all kids. But with the Trump administration likely to appeal, the situation is in flux.
