<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nPUNE: Police on Sunday took Siya Goyal, the prime accused in the alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal, to Lohagad Fort for reconstruction of the crime scene, according to news agency PTI.According to officials, the exercise is being conducted to recreate the sequence of events of the June 18 incident, in which Agarwal was allegedly pushed to his death from the fort by Siya (20) and her alleged partner Chetan Chaudhary (22).“Siya was taken to the spot at Lohagad Fort from where she, along with Chetan Chaudhary, allegedly pushed Agarwal to death. Chetan will be taken to the fort separately,” a senior official of the Pune rural police said.The official added that the purpose of the reconstruction is to verify the accused\u2019s version of how the incident took place and the exact location from where Agarwal was allegedly pushed.Both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary have been arrested for allegedly conspiring to kill Agarwal and pushing him off Lohagad Fort in Pune district.Police said Siya has claimed during interrogation that she did not want to marry Agarwal and allegedly conspired with Chaudhary to kill him, believing that cancelling the wedding would bring embarrassment to her family.Investigators are also examining multiple aspects of the case, including the planning of the alleged crime, the movements of the accused before and after the incident, their digital evidence, and the motive behind the murder, a senior officer said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
