Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied should complete their applications before the deadline through the prescribed online portals.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>Earlier, the last date to apply was June 22, 2026. However, the bank has extended the registration deadline to June 28, giving candidates additional time to submit their applications.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The recruitment drive is being conducted for engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2026-27. Vacancies have been announced across various states and Union Territories.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Vacancy details<br \/><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>A total of 4,500 Apprentice posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>Some states with the highest number of vacancies are:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"16\">\n<ul>\n<li>Maharashtra \u2013 586 posts<\/li>\n<li>Uttar Pradesh \u2013 580 posts<\/li>\n<li>Madhya Pradesh \u2013 459 posts<\/li>\n<li>Bihar \u2013 433 posts<\/li>\n<li>West Bengal \u2013 315 posts<\/li>\n<li>Gujarat \u2013 305 posts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Eligibility criteria<br \/><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Educational qualification<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"22\">\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognised university or institution.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who have already completed apprenticeship training in any organisation or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.<\/li>\n<li>The bank has also clarified that candidates with one year or more of job experience or training after obtaining the required educational qualification will not be considered eligible for apprenticeship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Age limit<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"26\">\n<ul>\n<li>The age eligibility will be calculated as on May 31, 2026. Candidates are advised to check the detailed notification for category-wise age relaxation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Selection process<br \/><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"29\"\/>The selection process includes:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"32\">\n<ul>\n<li>Online examination<\/li>\n<li>Local language proficiency test<\/li>\n<li>Document verification<\/li>\n<li>Medical fitness assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>The online examination will consist of 100 questions carrying 100 marks and will be conducted for 60 minutes. There will be no negative marking.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"35\"\/>The paper will include questions from:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"37\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"38\">\n<ul>\n<li>General and Financial Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Computer Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>General English<\/li>\n<li>Central Bank of India Products and Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"39\"\/>The online examination is expected to be held in the first week of July 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"41\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Stipend<br \/><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"43\"\/>Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 during the apprenticeship period.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"46\"\/>The apprenticeship training will be for 12 months.
