<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi:<\/span> Delhi BJP Saturday announced office-bearers for 11 of its 14 organisational districts while the appointment of state level functionaries, who largely run the affairs of the party at the city-state level, is expected to be announced next month.The appointments for the remaining three districts \u2014 Outer Delhi, West Delhi and Najafgarh \u2014 will be announced after consultations with the respective district presidents, party functionaries said. \u201cThe process of appointing state-level functionaries such as vice presidents, general secretaries, secretaries and others is also underway and is expected to be announced in two weeks time,\u201d said Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor.Besides the president, Delhi BJP functionaries include multiple vice presidents, general secretaries and secretaries among other functionaries who are entrusted with different party responsibilities by the president. The appointments of party functionaries are co-terminus with the tenure of the party president, whose term is generally three years.The ongoing organisational overhaul in Delhi BJP is crucial because of the municipal elections which are scheduled to be held in Delhi next year.Delhi unit chief Harsh Malhotra, who was appointed the president last month, said the new organisational structure reflects the party\u2019s commitment to women\u2019s empowerment, with 33% representation being given to women in line with BJP\u2019s national policy. He added that adequate opportunities had also been provided to young functionaries while ensuring representation for members of Scheduled Castes in district-level posts.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
