Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can now check and download their rank cards by visiting the official website, astu.ac.in.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>The Assam CEE is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes offered by engineering colleges across the state.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The entrance examination was held on June 14, 2026, in offline mode. The test lasted for three hours and consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 480 marks. The paper included three sections\u2014Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics\u2014with 40 questions in each section. <!-- -->The question paper was available in both English and Assamese. Candidates were awarded four marks for every correct answer, while one mark was deducted for each incorrect response.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>Before announcing the result, ASTU had released the provisional answer key on June 14 after 6 pm. Candidates were allowed to raise objections through the answer key challenge window until June 16, 2026, at 6 pm. After registration, they will have to fill in their preferred colleges and courses.
