<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi<\/span>: As part of its ease of doing business initiatives, Delhi govt has brought 23 additional services under the Delhi Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services Act, 2011. The move aims to ensure faster approvals, licences, registrations and no- objection certificates (NOCs) for citizens and business establishments while strengthening transparency and accountability.Chief minister Rekha Gupta said the decision would benefit not only citizens but also sectors such as industry, trade, hospitality, tourism, construction and services.\u201cThe govt\u2019s objective is to ensure that citizens and businesses receive govt services within a defined timeframe. Important approvals, licences, registrations and NOCs issued by various departments will now be delivered within stipulated timelines. This will reduce unnecessary delays and the need for repeated visits to govt offices. The time-bound service delivery mechanism will not only safeguard citizens\u2019 rights but also strengthen administrative accountability,\u201d Gupta said, adding that govt is committed to making Delhi more conducive to investment, business and employment opportunities.Under the expanded framework, the labour department will grant factory plan approvals within 15 days, while registrations under the Shops and Establishments Act will be completed within a day. Delhi Jal Board<\/a> will provide sewerage connections within 15 days, and Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation will issue film-shooting permissions within the same period.Applications related to electricity meters and connection agreements will be processed within 60 days. Registration of weighing and measuring instruments used by commercial establishments under legal metrology will be completed within 45 days. Delhi Pollution Control Committee will issue authorisations related to the collection, storage, transportation and recycling of battery waste within 15 days.Several municipal services have also been brought under the time-bound mechanism. Registration of water sports and adventure sports operators, approvals for amusement parks, hotel registrations or operational permissions, slaughterhouse licences, and NOCs from local bodies required for obtaining state licences for food businesses will be issued within 60 days.Permission for installation of mobile towers will be granted within 30 days, while approval for storage of construction material will be available within a day.The agriculture department will complete processes related to pesticide control operation licences, sales registrations and seed licences within 21 days. Under the excise department, bar licences will be issued within 30 days, while brand and label registrations under the IMFL and FL categories will be completed within 42 days.The forest and wildlife department will decide applications seeking permission for tree felling under the Delhi Preservation of Trees Act within 60 days. The public works department will grant permissions related to road cutting and associated works within 45 days. Registration of builders and real estate agents under RERA will be completed within 30 days.<\/div>\n
