<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi:<\/span> Delhi govt will set up special \u201ccooling zones\u201d for parents accompanying candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET<\/a>) on June 21, chief minister Rekha Gupta said Thursday.The arrangements will be made at all 97 exam centres across the capital, including 69 govt schools and 28 Kendriya Vidyalayas. The cooling zones will have seating, drinking water, shikanji, oral rehydration salts (ORS), tea and first-aid facilities to help parents cope with the heat while waiting outside centres.Students appearing for the exam will be allowed to travel free on Delhi govt buses on June 21 by showing their admit cards, Gupta had announced earlier.She said the move is aimed at addressing the discomfort faced by parents, who often spend several hours outside exam centres. \u201cWhile candidates take the exam, parents wait outside in difficult conditions. Their anxiety and discomfort often go unnoticed,\u201d she said.\u201cMany were forced to stand for long periods in extreme heat. This will now change, with comfortable waiting arrangements at exam centres,\u201d she added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
