<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nNew Delhi:<\/span> Delhi Police\u2019s Special Cell has arrested five alleged members of a multi-state terror module linked to Pakistan-based handler Shahzad Bhatti. The accused were allegedly tasked with targeting police personnel, spreading extremist propaganda and recruiting youth.The arrests followed a coordinated operation across Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The accused have been identified as Sohail (26), Sonu Meena (30), Sachin Kumar Meena (20), Mohammad Kaif (21) and Mohammad Rihan (20).Police said the group had been instructed to conduct reconnaissance of police stations and security camps, arrange weapons and paste posters and graffiti promoting the alleged terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan (TTH) across the Delhi-NCR region. TTH had recently claimed responsibility for the killing of an assistant sub-inspector in Punjab\u2019s Amritsar district, officials said.During the operation, five firearms, 10 live cartridges, posters linked to the network and other incriminating material were seized. This included videos allegedly used to track and threaten police personnel.According to investigators, Sohail allegedly painted TTH graffiti at multiple locations in Delhi and Faridabad and shared videos with handlers. Sonu Meena allegedly arranged weapons and provided financial assistance, while Kaif and Rihan were tasked with recruiting youth, conducting reconnaissance of security establishments and planning attacks.Police also claimed that Rihan had been offered Rs 3 lakh to carry out a firing attack on police personnel.Three other members of the same module had been arrested earlier, police added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
