The decision was taken to reduce the risk of heat-related problems, support students from economically weaker backgrounds, and ensure smooth travel on exam day.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Candidates will be able to use the facility through Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) buses.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Andhra Pradesh<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>The Andhra Pradesh government has also announced free bus rides for students appearing for the NEET UG re-examination.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/>Transport Minister M Ramprasad Reddy said that candidates can travel free of cost on Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) buses on June 21, 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>Students only need to show their examination hall ticket while boarding the bus. No separate registration or additional documents are required.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Delhi<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"32\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>The Delhi government has announced free travel for NEET UG candidates in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"35\"\/>Candidates can avail the facility by showing their admit cards on the day of the examination. The government said the initiative has been introduced to ensure that students do not face travel-related difficulties on an important examination day.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"37\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Punjab<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"39\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"40\"\/>The Punjab government has allowed NEET UG candidates to travel free in Punbus and Punjab Roadways Transport Corporation (PRTC) buses.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"43\"\/>Students can use the facility between June 20 and June 22 by showing their admit cards, which will serve as a free travel pass.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"45\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Uttarakhand<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"47\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"48\"\/>The Uttarakhand government has also announced free travel for NEET UG candidates who are permanent residents of the state.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"50\"\/>Students can travel free in ordinary buses operated by the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. The facility will remain available from two days before the examination until two days after the examination.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"53\"\/>Candidates will need to show their admit cards to avail the benefit.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"55\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">Other states<\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"57\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"58\"\/>According to government announcements, states such as Bihar and Haryana have also taken steps in the past to support students appearing for major national-level examinations.
