<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nNEW DELHI: Around 10-15 patients were evacuated after a fire broke out in the electric meter of a private hospital on Sunday night in southwest Delhi\u2019s Dabri. According to the police, a PCR call was received around 10.27 pm at the Sagarpur police station about the fire at the kidney hospital. Simultaneously, a call was also received by the Delhi Fire Service (DFS). Four fire tenders with around 24 fire personnel and around 15 police officers rushed to the spot along with PCR vans and CATS ambulance teams. Upon reaching the spot, officials discovered that the fire had already been extinguisned by the hospital staff using fire extinguishers. The patients who were present in the hospital at the time of the incident were evacuated by the hospital administration along with assistance from security guards \u2014 some of whom were deployed on the rear side of the hospital and had rushed towards the front \u2014 and locals. Residents had also reportedly broken open a lock on the rear gate using a hammer to facilitate quick evacuation. Preliminary inquiry revealed that the blaze had broken out due to a short circuit in the electricity meter and panel, police said. Fire officials added that the junction box was located on the ground floor of the five-storey building. Due to the electric source of the fire, BSES officials also reached the spot. The fire was completely doused by 10.40 pm and no injury or casualty was reported in the incident.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
